It's not just the U.S. The "system" is global & has been for many many decades, it's not just in the United States. Also, sadly, it's nothing new either, it's just getting farther & farther outta hand and they don't even try hard to hide their intentions anymore either cause people don't seem to care anymore about freedoms as much.
