Ran this A8s a bunch of times with different parameters and the biggest sensitivity is around the player in the HJ playing calls. They're supposed to jam top 25% of the deck and then play calls down to like 96s T9o amounting to a bout 13% call freq. If you take out the calls and have them play just a few more jams our calling range goes from 24% towards 40 and beyond. Ep is supposed to play about 50% RFI which is a little tighter than I would have imagined, think almost everyone (who's playing attention) is gonna hit this. Of course it's pretty much impossible to manipulate the ranges in any reasonable manner to not make A8s an absolute print (despite some folks in the comment telling me I'm punting!) Our overall response vs equilibrium is to call. 22+ A2s+ A5o+ K7s+ 78s KTo amounting to stacking off with 24% of hands we got dealt. This will get wildly looser the moment the player in the Hijack starts jamming a wider range than 25% themselves which given current population reads I don't think would be too unexpected. A spot that's very sensitive to each opponents range but one where we have to get in there and gamble very liberally. Obviously A8s isn't even close to the discussion for folding.

I'm no expert but I have seen several times you were stone bubble for itm and lost the flop (you did the right thing, just normal variance at play) but do you think maybe if you let the stone bubble pass (not always possible) that could be the tip up or tweak your game might be able to utilize? Either way, you are fantastic! Just a casual observation. I find people are generally just a tiny tweak away from perfection. Maybe check what Parker does when he's on the stone bubble and compare stats. Not sure this helps.

In the hand that plays out at 12:44 where I have A8ss, what do you think my range should be for stacking off? Lot's of people think I jam too wide in these videos, in particular when bounties are involved. After raise, all in, all in and action on me the Small blind, which hands can I profitably move all in with here considering the bounties in play? I've already solved the situation and will post some results once we have some guesses!

@@TheInternetAndy Hold 'em resource calculator very good for situations like this, allows you to input stacks, players remaining, bounties etc and spits out adjustable ranges for how each player should adjust.

Saying only 1% of poker players make over $50,000 per year is the most misleading statistic. Obviously this is true because you have to think 50/100 “poker players” are playing 10c/25c to $1/$3. And most people are not putting more than 20 hours a month. Saying 1% of poker players make over 50k just means nothing from an engineer perspective.
