I just looked back and watched a couple of the old videos from 2014 and 2015, I realised how much you have changed as a family and how much Jackson and Calvin have changed. You and other youtuber families are so lucky because you can just turn back time to watch/see the boys when they took their first steps! You are amazing Ellie and so are you Jared. My husband and I grew up in the Pacific NW & then decided to move to California for work + the sunshine, we just couldn't handle the clouds & dark days! Some people the weather doesn't bother them. I hsve suffered from depression my entire life. The winters are the hardest for me. lucky enough for me ive been on a couple trips this winter to sunshine and warmth and they have helped me a TON! I went to visit family in Arizona in January and I went to Las Vegas Nevada in February for my boyfriends birthday. I live in south western Washington where it rains from September to June basically. It was nice to get out of state and be in a sunny place to lift my spirits. I hope some sunshine and relief comes your guys way soon!

So....we live in Australia- we have never experienced SNOW - it only snows in the mountains - and that's approx a 3-4 hour drive from here- The heat in summer IS a real problem though- and having just finished Summer- the snow looks kinda wonderful from where I sit. You are sooo right Jared. Winter blues really do exist. I was raised in the UK and I remember it would rain for days, heck even months at a time and I honestly would get really down some days and I did not know why. Now I live in California where it rarely ever rains and I never thought I would ever miss the rain but after living here over half my life I really can say I miss the rain. lol. I also miss the different Seasons. I love watching your videos though and whenever I feel down or I miss my family I turn on my utube Subscriptions and in no time I am cheered up by watching your beautiful family.

Amazing how much snow you all get. We used to get winters like that but this year only a little bit of snow. Having a snowless winter is so different for us. But sure did get cold. It was even warm in February. But we all ended up sick due to the temps going from cold to warm. Sure is beautiful seeing the snow.
