Probably was moi who said it about the roly over bags, but Ian Ritchie is also an advocate for those bags. The odd hunt through those can throw up some classic finds, and I have a one upcoming next week! 😁

The Bird on the 50 Forint is the Saker Falcon it’s believed by Hungarians to be related to Hungary’s Legendary Mythical bird the Turul A huge bird of prey that is said to have Gods power & Will and be the protector of the people. Árpád (c845-c907 ad) Prince of the Hungarians was said to be a direct descendant of Attila the Hun (c406-c453ad) and therefore where the name Hungarian comes from in English (Magyar is the Hungarian name which means from the Urals that travelled westward). The Urals are a Mountain range that run through Russia from the North at the Artic to the south into Kazakhstan. 1 Forint is equal to 100 Filler Filler is pronounced Fill-Lee-ah and translates as penny in English The Forint is an extremely weak currency and 50 Forint is actually worth between 10p-11p I’m half Hungarian on my late father’s side I only know a handful of Hungarian words but my favourite is what Cheese is in Hungarian SAJT which when pronounced sounds like what we would say when it’s been terrible (you should Google translate it) 😂 Great stuff &👍🏻
