I'll probably mod it to see if I can get it to suspend a bit better, but I was amazed at how well it works for fishing deeper water!

The crazy technique I’m using now is taking my kids to the pond and throwing out shiners. Not how I like to fish, but they absolutely love it!

Fish will never turn down live bait if given the chance. And what a great way to get your kids involved! Perhaps when things warm back up you can get them to try other types of fishing.

It was in the mid thirties two days ago and used a silver suspending rattling rogue from the bank. Caught 3 in about an hour and a half. They're still biting!

Maybe it's just enough different from a jerkbait that the bass think it's something completely different. I was never big on winter fishing but these videos make me want to get out there!

Caught some on a dropshot but that bite seemed to dry up. Need to look into small deep diving jerkbaits.

LB do you think a a square bill designed to go deeper if they have them would work? I know they're available in a small sizes but I just don't know if they're designed to go deep. Good video, thanks.

You can put suspend strips/dots on them to get a bait to go deeper. I like the really small 100 size squarebills or flat-sided balsa cranks in the winter.

A Rebel minnow right from the bank is good but it doesn't get all that deep. I need to check Ollie's.

Yah Alfa stuff (community guidelines) Randy guy had fishong run/locks toho to Kissimmee omg they were stacked in another tiny lake he wouldn't hear it. Anyway on the way bac in an hour I cought 3 over five and lost buy 2lbs with our 3 fish......😢

Low brow, are you using the 3 1/2 inch or the 4 3/8 inch Thunderstick? Also would a suspend dot help slow it down a bit?

I'm using the smaller, 3 1/2" size. would think some suspend dots/strips would help it suspend better in the water.
