@@ميعاد-ظ7ش i think you just need to practice a lot and when you get familiar with the language you don't need to to translate anymore. I'm on this journey and now I don't need to do it with basic English but I often get stuck with a higher level, I need to practice more to reach that goal. 💪💪

i am start to learn english because my college task forced me using english. sometimes, i'm feels desperated. english give me a lot new things that i can't understand. but, slowly i am grateful because i can understand when i find that someone speak in english or when i read a text in english. maybe, i just made a lot of mistake when i wrote this, but i trust myself if i can improve and more improve!

I can understand English very very well and I can speak fine too but actually I'm quite comfortable with the English that I don't need an translation to my own language to understand that but the main problem is I don't have anyone who's with I can speak so that's the reason I have some problem's with speaking English other than that I'm very well in English.

Good talk, is true that the pasive-active actions makes the difference, I've been trying to learn English for years, just watching movies or programs, studying, etc, but i realized my own deficiency hardly in speak when I tried to make a job interview without a translator or dictionary

Language skills and speaking/writing skills are two different things. It is possible to be fluent in a language and yet be a poor speaker or writer. For example I consider myself a poor writer/speaker even in my own native language. Just because you know a language doesn't mean that you automatically are a good writer or speaker. Good speaking or writing requires skills that go beyond the language per se. You need to ask yourself what your priorities are. Do you want to learn a language or do you want to become a good speaker/writer? Those are two different separate goals. If you want to learn the language first then you should forget about speaking and writing and just focus on reading. Because reading a lot is the fastest way to acquire a good vocabulary and learn the language fast. Later you can focus on speaking and writing.
