Honestly i doubt they’ll actually permanently kill any of the main astral express crew cause I feel like none of them would really be worth killing off their character. It’d be dumb to kill off Welt in what is essentially a spin off. Himeko dying beats the point of the alien space story line. Dan Heng, I just don’t see a good reason for him to die atp. March still hasn’t got anything but even then she’s the icon of the game. And then TB is the protag lol.

Thing about skipping the actual game and just watching the animations means they've got no weight or impact. I remember first time I saw Cyber Angel, the moment where Bronya starts yelling was so impactfull because you'd gone through dozens of hours at this point, where she didn't express any emotion. You can understand that, and why suddenly that little moment just adds to everything else, but you didn't get to experience it. Was wonderful.

So far its pretty much just one sided from Seele but nothing from bronya, its pretty clear from the game that Bronya doesnt look at Seele as a romantic interest. Theyre both Seele, its just the name Veliona stuck and people confuse it.

another reason why this game is not that popular at its time of release is because there is not a single phone can run the game smoothly, like literally. in 2018 even the most powerfull chipset, snapdragon 845 phone need to at least lower the resolution to 720p to play smoothly with high graphic preset at 30/60fps. this game really is ahead of its time for mobile games

Yeah early on its pretty bad, its from 2016 and they had literally nobody to draw inspiration from after all, since it was the very first 3d arpg on mobile platforms literally ever. You can kinda tell it was pretty experimental. Its a good thing they kept improving it as they went on, adding more character mechanics, animations, enemy and stage mechanics, smoother gameplay etc.

Been watching people reacting to HI3 animated shorts for a long time, and everytime when it come to seele animated short, I just hoped that they watch the CN dub instead of JP dub. Not because the JP dub is bad, it just not as good as the CN dub, specifically for seele animated short. Veliona (red seele) voice lines in CN dub just have so much more emotions compared to JP dub, and one major line in CN dub got redirected to a different in JP dub. It sad to see that CN dub are so underated.

The story is amazing and the characters are really damn good. But i do NOT recommend you play it, Pokke. It the story starts very slow, with a focus on generic things so that you understand character relationships before anything goes down. And combat at the start is really clunky, given that its literally the first 3d arpg on mobile devices ever made, the combat was experimental in the beginning and it released in 2016 (updated tutorial in 2017/18 but nothing really changed since then). All of these problems, combat and story pacing, get fixed as the game progresses, but it takes a bit of an investment, and unless you sit down and read the story to understand the characters and situation, your enjoyment will be severely diminished. Simply put, I do not think you have the patience or interest to make it past the slow beginning and continue to read the story throughout. If you just want to get an idea of the story and lore for HSR, i recommend watching homulab videos, theres one that very briefly sums it up in 20 mins.
