Went to 61st street yesterday, nothing bit. Went to the dike around 10 last night. Got a Catfish and then hooked a Trout on cut mullet but I pulled it up and the dang thing had been bitten off from behind the gills to the tail. Clean bite haha

I see what your youtube theme is about and I like it. 👍 I enjoy watching the videos. I can see you reaching out to young anglers in Texas. Getting them to learn to fish, what's best to keep, information about local regulations, how to's. Tips, ties, and baits. I been forwarding these to my kids. They're about your age and like to fish.

So I caught a bullred on a whole 7 inch shad like two weeks ago but I keep getting told that the bulls are hitting on crab this time of year. Any advise on why that is so? I'm in my 2nd year of fishing and let's just say my first wasn't all that. I go almost every weekend and now I have a good idea on what the fish like with the exception of bullreds. I've never sight casted for them nor I have a yak to chase them in the marsh. just chunked some 8 and bait out there for them just only hit once. I'm probably 1 for 10 on my attempts for bulls. Any advise would be awesome.
@Carlos-jq7bf2 жыл бұрын
Great video btw, that fight is what everybody is out there for. It's nice getting hooked up on some fish
@GGAnglers2 жыл бұрын
I usually like using crab but its random. Sometimes they are hitting mullet more than anything, sometimes crab, sand trout, croaker or whiting. It all depends. If you can try to catch or buy multiple baits to see what they are hitting more. They are a lil harder to catch but im sure you will catch more!🙏🎣
@TheFishAndTrips2 жыл бұрын
I see you stepping up your B-roll game, youngsta. Go ahead and slow the duration down by -50% in post-edit to get the slow-motion effect bringing your B-roll shots to the next level. * It only looks good at 60FPS. Oh yeah, what I tell you about fishing at the trash a@@ spot aka TCD. 🙄
@GGAnglers2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I appreciate the tips🙏 Really trying to get my editing better. Slowly improving and hopefully I can get a camera and drone later for better shots. And I think I have another TCD video on the way but not anytime soon😂😂😂

@@GGAnglers take your time with gear. I started off with ONE damn handheld camera making videos. Eventually I got: -Canon 70D aka Big Camera -Canon G7X aka B-roll/Time Lapse camera -2 GoPros Hero 8s - Samsung Galaxy Plus -DJI Mini Drone (after I crashed my first one 😭) Regardless, gear doesn't mean 💩 if you still can't be a good storyteller. Think about, I catch LESS fish than any other local KZbinr. Yet, my channel is still very popular. Once you become a good storyteller and great editor. You won't even have to catch a fish in your videos to still rack up thousands of views like your counterparts...
