I Caught a Man Eating Fish in an Abandoned Pond!

In today’s video, I find an abandoned pond FILLED with rare fish including a man eating catfish! But since no one is taking care of them, I decided to catch them all out and save them! I started netting around and found a bunch of dead fish including koi, peacock bass, and even sturgeon! But there was also some fish still alive including cichlids, catfish, pacu, bichirs, AND MORE! We then discovered a monster fish inside of the big pond, but the water was too murky to catch it out, so we started netting around in the other ponds! We caught angelfish, albino alien fish, arowanas, and tons of other crazy fish! I then spotted what looked to be a giant turtle but when I tried to catch it, I accidentally caught more rare fish including vampire fish, tigrinus catfish, pufferfish, and more! But after awhile I finally caught the monster mata mata turtle and the monster ripsaw catfish! Even though we saved a ton of fish already, we had to keep going because we knew there was man eating catfish in there! So we placed 2 fish traps and left them there overnight! We put all the fish and turtles we caught so far into my backyard ponds and aquariums, and went back later to check the traps! When we saw what was inside we were SHOCKED! We caught more deadly vampire fish and goonch catfish, AND a baby sturgeon which we put into my fish tanks! Should we go back and do a part 2 here?

Greetings from Missouri (St. Louis)! Just a little trivia, when you are bitten or cut when dealing with filthy and bacteria filled water, let the wound bleed. It cleans the wound and helps to flush out bad bacteria. After, use an antibiotic ointment. Great catches!!!!!

You can, but let it bleed first to clean out the wound inside, peroxide is topical. Be sure to dilute 50/50 with water. Peroxide is an acid and if used in pure form, it can burn the skin.

Hi, paramedic here, don't put peroxide on an open wound. It's caustic and kills the surrounding cells by causing them to pop.

Hi Bobby and Helen, one of the best! Such awesome variety of fish I love abandoned pond videos. Can you pump or take a one of the home depot buckets and scoop some water out to get to the bottom of the ponds? I bet there are smal fish along the bottom. You didn't put any little fish trap in the smaller one and maybe take out the filter that was floating so you can net. The only way to be sure you save all the awesome fish that are in the pond is to get the water out and they are so small..the pond sections are not that big. OMG, the suspence of what ya might find is killin me haha. My hubby and I love you guys and your channel is my favorite KZbin out of all I watch 😊 . We can't wait to see a part 2!!!!

You need to bring your pumps, traps and face masks and get back ASAP. Great fish, nightmare conditions. Empty the ponds and clean the fish out. Great work!!!! Yup, now finished the whole thing, easily one of your best!!!!! Maybe get some bacterial treatment, just in case. Get back ASAP, chuck a couple of traps in each. Drain them.....do everything!!!! Almost every catch was a WOW!!!!!!

4mon late, but I could be wrong but I think those 2 mystery cats are Jaguar Dolphin Catfish (Ageneiosus marmoratus). It's a Fahaka Puffer ❤ And pretty sure the [1st] non albino bichir you pulled out is an Ornate Bichir (didn't get a good look of the albinos)

You guys are awesome for what you do. You've actually inspired me to start a tank with Placos and salamanders. They look great together and it gives me a chance to get creative with the habitat. Question though, I noticed during the explanations and normal narrations, you are still holding the fish; have any of them just completely suffocated while waiting to be transferred back into breathable water? Idk why but I was thinking of a personal challenge for you guys, during the transition for the fish, see if you can hold your breath for the same duration of 1 of your normal narrations or explanations. Use an old video to get an average time. I think that'll be fun for you guys and as fish enthusiasts, give you an even more personal connection with your rescues. Keep it up guys. You should get two big black tubs and have them ready to put your new fish in for parasite treatment then add them to your main ponds, you got real nice fish don’t loose them for a little quarantine time, great video tho and yes go back get more🙏🏻💚🇬🇧
