Mr Gene every time I go fishing I always end up ONLY targeting bass. Even when beforehand i tell myself ok Brian, today we fish for crappie or bluegills, but I end up always trying for bass. Well this weekend I'm targeting crappie and panfish dangit!!! My cast iron is full of grease and a little jealous. Last yr I used 3 to 4 inch split tails along with the new mini frog from B&B crappie. Worked well..

Gene just want to thank you for your tips on the jigs, it really works better. I nerve would have thought about cutting off the weight on the jigs, to adjust to conditions that you may be fishing.

Thanks Richard for another great video. I've always liked using the underspin jig heads. I remember way back when Jimmy Houston was a young man and doing a lot of crappie fishing, how he was crazy about the roadrunner. Guess that's when I started trying it, never without them in tackle box. I really appreciate you sharing your trips and knowledge with us. The first time I ever intentionally caught a crappie it blew my mind because I never felt a bite… I just felt weight on the line and I set the hook which I normally don’t do if I don’t feel a peck…😂 It’s so funny how they bite different all the time. Sometimes they’ll nail it. Lol
