Hey bro. You should check out the overboardpro dehooker for the kayak. Had one for years and it has served me well!

Yeah, I've definitely seen those attached to boats before. My main concern is not to drill into my kayak though maybe they have an attachment

@@DanTheFishMan They connect to the track, just like any other accessory

Tighten your drag a little or is that what you want to sound like it’s a bigger fighting fish if it is then you are doing great but then little fish should not pull that much drag

Iunderstand what you're saying and appreciate the comment in this particular location.I've hooked some really big fish, so I'd like to start with a looser.Drag and then tighten it down and hopes that I don'tget broke off by a big one. Tightlines 🤙

@@DanTheFishMan typically with larger predator fish you’d wanna start with a tight drag that way if they try to pull you into any structure you can turn their head. It just helps with not getting broke off as easily. If all your knots are tied right and you’re using the right pound leader you should have no problem fishing tight drag. at the end of the fight you can loosen your drag because the fish becomes more exhausted and you’re able to just tire them out until you’re able to land. Like the content just trying to give a little helpful advice to help you land bigger fish.
