Nichijous openings are extremely good. The songs slap (and, funnily enough, are sung by a single person with a voicechanger), the animation is great (don't be fooled by many yt uploads being out of synch, it matches the music) and having an absurd comedy about the "ordinary" lifes of its cast have love-songs during the opening despite romance being made fun of whenever it comes up just fits way too well.

You're not a Yu-Gi-Oh player until you Zaborg'd yourself at least once. It's like an initiation, I swear. Also, the second to last opening of Bleach (the old series, not the new one) is pretty good, and any opening sung by Altima is also a confirmed banger. Some old songs are pretty good, too - ZZ Gundam's Silent Voice is a classic in the franchise.

But what had happened almost all the time was the @ignister or marincess player would go first, make their unaffected towers, then the opponent slaps down mine and it’s like gg from there. In my hypothetical, that wouldn’t work since this version of mine can’t stop unaffected monsters. If you know your opponent is on mine, you wouldn’t comment any monster to the board anyway unless you knew you could make it to the towers. My question was if this is how mine would have worked, would we have hatted it just as much or would there be more forms of techs to deal with it.

Coder, I recommend reading Psyren if you haven’t already. It’s a very underrated manga that didn’t make enough sales during it’s run which caused the author to rush the ending due to cancellation and it hasn’t gotten an anime adaptation yet (honestly probably won’t) but fans of it have been begging for one for years

When he talks about Manga/Anime the anime is just to sell more of the manga. You can look at manga sales before and after an anime. Some anime don't have source materials like light novels or Manga but a lot of them do, so if you want to look ahead in the story you can.
