I think prompts should have been clearer for better results, but in the long run a real human designer will still take the lead. Because AI struggles with context and as your app gets larger it will start to loose consistency

AI did a good job in the second prompt. The third prompt had better user experience since it allows users to view their order and continue shopping Your design overall is better [chatgpt]

@goodnessdavid6583 lol. I sort of did cheat with chatgpt. But that's the point, we don't ignore AI, we use it where we can. And I love using it for asset generation, not actual layouts

Your prompts did not mention hero sections, especially on the last one. If you gave it more detail you would have gotten better results. 2/3 of AI outputs are the detailed prompts.

The AI is a service, it will never push back on a stakeholder critique by having its own design choices, and it will never die on a hill for its choices or possibly convince it is the best way forward. It always agrees with the prompter in the end if you convince it. On that premise alone, AI will never win in a real-life design situation. But on design itself, i will say the first one looks, well..its ok i guess, but it didnt really follow the brief correctly :D 2 and 3, i would say it could get chosen over yours depending on the company policy and actual branding etc. when deciding. All that said, none of them are really GREAT and probably needs a few iterations before actually getting to the good stuff :)

Would be interesting to see if you spent 20 minute making a design, and 20 minutes doing continuous prompting to make a design on Motiff. However, its funny to see how quickly designers become PMs when using design or development AI tools

It seems that you have using a stylise parameter to 0 in Midjourney, maybe with use of high level of stylise you should have obtain more.

The AI loses because it lacks creativity. AI designs are boring and lack that dynamic, that extra sprinkle of spice that elevates the design. Also to be fair to AI, Gary has special powers.

@@danielodeniyi8729 I was not talking about assets, you made an incorrect assumption. Anyone can use AI assets but that is not going to make a great design. I did his course and I knew most of the stuff but my new designs were on a new level.
