4:45 Personally... I like where Rei's mind is at when it comes to his 2024 goals in becoming more mature as an adult man. You just don't hear that kind of thing from young players... Very admirable. I could think of a handful of young top players that could benefit from that type of mindset 💯 I wish him well in his playing career and adulthood 👊

I agree. Felix is so focused on the ranking but if you do the right things and create goals to better yourself the ranking will come naturally.

Its about being a more well-rounded person, serious about one's 'craft' and holistic if you want to take anything about being more 'mature'. Developing principles these days and having a measure of honour in what one does(which has gone away completely). However in Japan I think its different to the sick-fest clownworld 'we$t' though Japanese have a lot of their own problems. Despite American Imperalistmus and general Globalist poi$on that has swept through East Asia, there is still emphasis on work, serving the business, traditions, family and one's image from what I have heard. So no doubt being some man-child or a fortnite / Minecraft (whatever stupid shit teenagers to 20 yr olds play) perpetual infant with nil proper understanding of things is not tolerated. Problem is most very young to young players live in a bubble, probably had somewhat of a permissive upbringing and have personally outside tennis not much expected of them. Even the way most youth train now is non-intensive, not physical enough with entitled and lazy attitudes. I think Rafa even hinted at this in his book when he compared how many hours Juniors train today vs how many he did at the same age(30+ hours a week) Of course the wider decaying 'society' has constructed the 'youth' into being uninspired, uninterested, phone and 'social'media obsessed and utterly dependant without any sense for adventure or independence. Anyone who is committed, obsessed and fanatical(which you must be) is ridiculed though one must just ignore the trash. Its all by design and not surprising

As an aspiring UK based tennis player myself, I know how hard it is to keep up the motivation to keep grinding at tournaments. And I've talked to other players about you and your channel at Grade 3+4 tournaments about the work you put in to get to the level you're at. Watching you now make videos with the likes of Rei and Jules Marie inspires me to keep going and push myself to play at the best level I can. Love from North London🙌

It was great to see another IMG Academy Video, I love their facilities and love your practice sessions against their top players!
