@@BluntForceR.A.PwithBylurinn Margit (in both his appearances) IS a projection of Morgott's creation, as is Sewer Mohg, but his projections are more "solid" than Mohg's. That much isn't lore, it's just a hole in design. Another example of an unusual inconsistency is that Margit's first appearance doesn't leave a body, whereas his second in Altus has him possessing a random mook, and leaving his corpse when "killed." Some people vehemently glue themselves to the idea that _everything_ in the game is perfectly deliberate and fits into the lore somehow, which is obviously completely delusional, when in reality the game was designed and created over a long period of time, and many changes were made throughout the process, creating an assortment of oddities and inconsistencies.

I assume to keep the mystery of the pacing. Like if they got a great rune super early on but the events were placed near each other out of order (mohg fight vs mohg fight instead of chronologically), same way they latter runes the loser didnt get werent shown
