Pro Tips: How to Spawn as SWAT For 100 Armor and still insta-change to other Perk. 1. Connect to an on-going session. 2. Select "SWAT" and take all the left-side perks. (But don't click "Join" button). 3. Open console (Press @ or Tide key) 4. Then type in "reconnect". 5. Now, click "Join" button, you will spawn as SWAT with 100 armor, 　　insta-switch to other Perk. Note: the point is You have refreshed the right (to change Perk once in a wave/trader time).

The swat class already had the HRG bastion and that let you sprint, reload and throw grenades while blocking and now the swat class can run around like they are on crystal meth. I now consider swat the most broken class in killing floor 2 hands down.

Finally, Pathfinder has found the way of the SWAT Gang. No joke, my friends and I play the game super casually on Hard on console, and we have a running joke of all the team playing SWAT and giving call-outs like "SWAT Gang flash grenade" to team up on large zeds.

I do the SWAT to see how much shit I can destroy with just the close combat 9s and, of course, ram every single rat bastard I can during Zed time. Love my Easter pastel-skinned MP7, but usually nails and Kriss bullets waste everything the 9s don't. Now I just gotta find an all-Husk map so I can run around tank-shooting Husks all freakin' day. 😆😆😆

I never understood why you called the Swat bad. It's weakness is large Zeds, but not so much with a skilled player.

Now with the bastion and the speed you can control killing multiple big zeds (fleshpounds, quarterpounds) Swat was always good at 1v1, but sucked badly at 1vX, if you were with teammates that shot the same zeds, you didn't notice it, but if you were on your own lane, you died 8/10 times due to raged fleshpounds, you didn't have anything to control the situation.
