met her in columbus ohio this summer. she's great. one of the best guitar players ive watched and definitely enjoyed. stayed right in front of her all night, just blown away! i play in just a local band and thats work. as tough as the road is she left it all on stage!

Way cool interview with the chick I admire immensely!!! Courtney Cox blew me away on guitar and as a person when I first saw them live snd Dallas HOB and was fortunate to interview the entire band on their tour bus for my birthday. It’s one of the only video interviews I’ve done personally that you can see here on this channel. Thank you again and keep up the great wasting time!!!

I learned my first power chords and minor scales from Doug Marks and his Metal Method cassette tape series. I think I ordered them out of the back of Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine. Best investment I ever made as a 14 yr old new to guitar playing.

Vibrato! Thank you, thank you. I truly believe it's the technique that separates good guitar players and great guitar players. And it's essential to developing a signature sound that's unique to you. Vibrato is the fingerprint of a guitar player.

Hi Jason. I could not find the video of Courtney Cox playing Mr. Scary. I searched for quite a while using all different configurations I could think of. If you find it, please post it. Unless I just missed it, I don't think it is available anymore.

Good interview. It's kind of interesting to me how much being attractive plays a part in commercial success. Tell that to Lemmy! But still it feels a little depressing at times. And even when she's working she's "running" the coffee shop. So idk. I'm impressed with her ability to play covers. There were a few boys at that level of cover playing when I was young. She was a jock/ cheerleader person who segued into being a pretty woman who actually for some reason likes and plays classic heavy metal. I know this seems like I'm being negative. Maybe I am. If so, I'm sorry. These are just the things that are running through my mind as I watch the interview. I guess that a person just has to play the hand they're dealt to the best of their ability. I know that Courtney works really hard on her playing. But I will just say that that when I first checked out The Iron Maidens it was a situation of, "Hey Iron Maiden and pretty women. Two of favorite things." And it makes me wonder if everywhere she goes it's like that. Like, "Hey coffee and a pretty woman. Two of my favorite things." Like when you have a boss and you're like, "How did you get this job besides being tall?"

The interview was really interesting, but Courtney’s constant laughing made it hard to stay through the whole interview in one sitting. I had to do it in several sessions.
