Every other prank has been with one of them in on it, and more importantly revealing the hoax within the episode to not violate that trust. It's one thing to prank R&L, it's another to "prank" the audience. The way this was done, without the curtain being lifted in the same video, means that if a guest ever does legitimately win, anyone that happened to watch this LTAT will think it's another prank, and anyone that didn't will think they weren't the first to do it. This also opens the door to any number of things being staged. The episode got to trending because a lot of people were impressed by the win. Being disingenuous is rewarded.
