This is so fantastic! Thank you! I thought that I only had to read the hexagram 45 (the relating hexagram) and not the 1st one I was given (21). Your analysis was spot on! I asked if I should get my MA degree in Counseling and got Hexagram 21 😊 but I read 45 yesterday and didn’t know what to do with it! This one makes more sense to me!

I am so delighted that helped you Kate. Yes the two hexagrams are two parts of the same story, and the one does transform into the other. With Hex 21 it seems to be telling you there is some vigorous action to take to bite through what is stopping you. And, Hex 45 is brilliant for your question too! Amassing blessings through education, lovely! And maybe gathering loads of research data too ha ha. 😃

Hello Belinda, this was a great video. I was wondering if you can explain how to get the nuclear hexagram? I didn’t understand how you got 39 Thank you blessings

Thanks so much! To get the nuclear of any hexagram, you essentially discard line 1 (bottom) as it is something new entering and line 6 (top) as that is something leaving. The nuclear's bottom trigram is then formed from lines 2, 3 and 4, and then the top trigram from lines 3, 4 and 5, so the overlapping lines in the centre. Hex 21 then gives a nuclear through a bottom trigram of Mountain and a top trigram of Water, maxing Hexagram 39. I hope that makes sense? 😊
