Some things can't be worked out. Some people don't have a choice because they are just "treading water" and at some point they will lose the strength to even do that. Sometimes it just is what it is. So telling people who can't do anymore than what they are already doing and it's still not working, that there is some kind of hope and to "just help yourself", really is like a slap in the face to those who ARE doing what they are supposed to be doing. Why not just be honest and say, hey, do your best and maybe you will survive or maybe you won't. There is no formula for getting out of some situations, sometimes you are just stuck. I had to stop watching this and walk out of the room because I literally lost any glimmer of hope that I had. I usually like these sermons, but this one made me feel like crying and that there literally is no hope.

In John 16:33 didnt Jesus say we will have trouble, "have tribulation" but be of good cheer. I suffer everyday and for me I pray that I want to be connect to God and thats important, thats the only thing I want. I fight being scared everyday and other problems, mostly because my heart stops sometimes. I pray for healing but maybe thats not the plan..Gods will, and I have trouble with that. "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." Dont give up, I can understand. Theres a lot of stuff I dont understand and question. Proverbs 3:5 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

I never reply or post things. I just wanted to share with you what God did for me. ANY TIME we are "treading water" in life; whether in a big devastating way like chronic illness, or death in family, etc or even smaller way like betrayal of friendship, the #1 worst thing for us is isolation. To not have Christian brothers and sisters around us that will encourage us, pray for us, love us especially in difficult days can almost cause us to distrust God's love and goodness. He loves on us through others. Even after I found a church 3yrs ago, it took time and so much vulnerability on my part. I have ptsd, anxiety chronic pain and a very wild past. I was afraid being a new Christian how they'd be able to accept me. But they have and I am so grateful for it. God's literally using godly women in my life to heal me from abuse in my past by loving me so well. God can and will do it for you. Even like this sermon where he talks about discipline. Whenever we're in a situation-anything, and we're powerless in ourselves to do it, no matter how hard we try. We have to look outside of ourselves for that support. God created us to need each other, i.e. we're all part of 1 body. I pray Holy Spirit no matter what denomination or preference of teaching as the body of Christ WE HAVE TO COME TOGETHER IN UNITY AND TAKE A STAND AGAINST THE POWERS OF DARKNESS!! Much love everyone!

This is Tony Robbins neuro association. Don't get me wrong great message but it's something that has been talked about for a long time.Trust me I do get what you are saying it's not like a church. It's more like a motivational conference every weekend. Which in its own way is good. Look I by books from Steven Covey, Dale Carnegie, Tony Robbins ect.... So people getting motivated by Craig is a good thing. But, my personnel opinion and mind you this is my opinion I stress OPINION is that Life Church on exist to grow and put out a flashy motivational message each weekend. Those that are non believers call that motivational speaking. What most traditional church's had provided to their communities were day cares and schools but this is dwindling due to the motivational mega church's. It's a business make no mistake about that.
