you can forget if it's been over a year and the color only lasted two weeks. they bleached me and my hair was basically pink even though it no longer showed up with my natural color. hair dye is funny like that. I feel like stylists should just expect that may happen as I feel like it's a common thing.

The only way to make wigs free it's through sponsorship like Pantene did. You can't expect people from admin to the hair sorters and the skilled and technical wig makers to give their free time (hundreds of hours a year) and gifts for free! I'm it's still heavily subsidized with people's money donations. Don't forget these people have to put bread on the table and provide a roof over their head too 🙄

Most of the donated hair ended up being sold. They are also very vague about how much of the donated hair is sold, claiming they don't keep records of that.

I was surprised seeing how much I actually liked those red ends even though it was an actual issue for them. Yellow with pink-ish ends looked so cute somehow even if it wasn't intentional and everyone wanted to get rid of it, lol.

@Oliver Long which doesn't make sense because blue washes out first xD If you dye your hair bright blue it washes out green and if you dye it turquoise it's definitely going to be a green after some time.

Awww I met Danny Moon when I was 18 (ten years ago) when this man in LA kidnapped me and wanted me to have my hair bleached out. I was able to convince him to let Danny do something more colorful and the whole experience in the salon was so magical. I used to have his number and we were going to hang out but I lost it by the time I escaped and made my way home. It's cool to see him still making hair dreams come true..

I’m not crazy about it. It’s fun, don’t get me wrong. The hairstylist is AMAZING and amazing at what he does but for mermaid I wish we did some blue and purple mixed in and not all over one color - it reads as solid green. Looks super healthy though which is awesome, and she loves it. I think it washes her out a little but if she’s happy, that’s great.
