It’s generally just you doing a monologue. Not too animated but just how you are. Make sure to not look down or up, you can see in my avatar that the lips are slightly off because of that. Also make sure you are lit well and send them the highest quality file.

The absurd thing about this service is that you have to buy it without knowing what the output will be like, you can't try it in any way, if it doesn't go well you can give it another try and then that's it, you've wasted your money. I suppose it is more appropriate to give the possibility to create an avatar and then test it with a standard phrase, just to understand if it works well. I suppose that the amount of calculation does not fit with what I said and I think that we are still at a very basic level, with the advancement of technology we will certainly be able to access such services with much less expense

What I do NOT like about HeyGen is the fact that the avatar gestures don't match the verbal content. Us humans we know what makes sense, but AI is actually really stupid, it just makes random associations between words and body movements which appear strange to us.

I’ve noticed this too. It gets it right sometimes. It depends a bit on the source material you give the model to train on as well. I’ve mad r a few avatars, the last one does slightly better with the arm movements. No idea why. Haha

You need to pay the yearly $199 (or yearly fee in your country) before you can even SEE what your avatar lite looks like (clone of yourself). Just wasted heaps of time creating a nice 2 minute video needed to upload for the avatar only to find out you CAN'T even preview it unless you pay the FULL FEE first. Just be aware. Weird you can't see the result first.
