there is a lot to learn for sure, but if you compare to before, it actually gets easier now because you have a lot of tools that do a lot for you like the ones I mention here + AI coding assistants help a ton Also one thing to think about: companies will pay you based on the value you provide, so the more you know = the more you can provide value = the more you can get paid. Doesn't mean you need to learn tons of languages and frameworks, just learn the core essential ones, and then get rly good at them by building lots of projects with them

Bro. tbh what you are telling is not engineering literally anybody can use these external services to do all this. The real moat is to build things yourself be it authentication or any other part of it.

It depends what you are optimizing for. If your goal is to get interviews, you need to find ways to stand out and do it fast. One way is to build a bunch of projects and share them online. Every project will have one main challenge, and that's the one I would focus on building myself. The rest, I would just use tools to go faster whenever I can. You need to find the right balance between the two.

It depends if you target big tech or startups. Big tech ask leetcode style questions, startups usually don't. Either way, you need to know basic data structures (arrays, objects, hash maps, etc.), but algorithms are not necessary in most cases if you go after startups.
