I have always loved collecting all of the exotics in Destiny 2, but I have always been wanting to collect all of the free Exotics in the game in one stream like a Pokemon Living Dex Challenge. Watch as we collect every free Raid, Mission, Quest, RNG, and Kiosk Exotic in the game. Will we succeed?

19:05 I think Conditional Finality would fit into prophecy as its exotic. The entire dungeon is based around light and dark so it would make sense that the exotic would shoot solar and stasis. And it could also get a sick nine inspired ornament with it.

and then they could make a new exotic for ron. my idea is that it would be an exotic strand smg called “The throne of Nightmares”. Its exotic perk would be called “Fear of the Unknown”. Where getting *insert number* kills with the weapon spawns a nightmare. When the nightmare is active, the weapon gains subsistence. idk if it would fit or be good in the meta but i think its pretty cool

@@cbgray Sad fact for sure, but I completely understood the grind, haven't been on D2 since near the end of Season of Dawn, so I had none of the Expansions after Shadowkeep heck at the time I didn't have Shadowkeep. This Christmas rolls around I take advantage of the 75% percent drop in price putting the Legacy Pact and Lightfall in my price range grabbed them all up including the 30th Anniversary then proceeded to go thru each Expansion piece meal then grind until I got to max power on all three characters, knocking exotics off the list left, right, and center.

@@cbgray Well now any future challenges will be easier after the prologue mission skip, run to the tower grab your preferred subclass from Ikora and exotic weapon, run to the brave armory get your leveled gear, then get to grinding the challenge.

The amount of effort that goes into these challenges and these videos is incredible, they're a blast to watch and I can't wait for the next one. I honestly have no idea how you stay up for such extended periods of time and it blow my mind. An idea for a future challenge: collect all the exotic catalysts, this one would be a NIGHTMARE I guarantee but would be a pretty lengthy challenge too.

The prophecy dungeon exotic should be like the ron exotic with the dual type but instead of solar and stasis it could be void and strand and I think it being a hand cannon with each shot switching between the two could be cool

Hey I absolutely love the videos, I don’t know if you’ll be doing another challenge like this but if you do I would recommend completing your 3rd, 6th and 9th ritual activity for the exotic on the activity that is double rewards that week, I don’t know why but I discovered doing this actually gives you two exotic engrams instead of one. I think this has something to do with the fact that it counts as loot from the activity not the challenge but idk. Hope this helps and keep the great videos up!

You are correct Josh unfortunately there was an error in my script that I couldn't change due to a sponsor due date. Take a look at time stamp 47:05 and look at my exotic count at the bottom. It says 22 exotics on the bottom left. Even though in the video at this time we were at 41 exotics. That first run there actually happened when we had 22 exotics which was less exotics than we had at 32:01. (We had 24) An unfortunate thing that we didn't get time to change. What actually happened if curious was one run at 22 exotics. And then our next run was when we had 41 exotics at 48:26.

a cool idea for a prophecy exotic; an arc 120 scout (but the bullets are projectiles like skyburners oath) with a secondary fire, maybe it consume a grenade, and it shoots out a taken knight flamethrower burst. Give it demo (or fancy exotic demo) as the other perk so it reloads the scout part when you consume the grenade.

Little late to the party, but I’d give prophecy an exotic that’s a pulse rifle that after reloading on kill it would get a buff between heaven or hell, heaven giving extra handling, stability, and better recoil, and hell giving extra damage, reload speed, and more aim assist

Don’t exotic engrams always drop exotic weapons, then once you unlock every possible drop it starts getting armor

Good question! Yes, but this is how you can screw yourself over and I’d suggest watching my collecting all 222 exotics video to see. Without understanding the magnitude of this I just blatantly wasted all of my exotic engrams at the beginning of the challenge, every single one before I ever did any armor farms. Bc of this a lot of these exotic engrams ended up being armor because armor was still in my loot pool of undiscovered exotics. Fast forward I unlocked all the remaining armor in vex incursions and lost sectors and then realized that I had no more exotic engrams to get weapons because I wasted them all on armor earlier on and I was almost doomed because of it. Order of operations, unlock every armor piece when doing a challenge like this then open all your weapons after. You can always go farm armor but available exotic engrams to get weapons are more precious when doing timed challenges.

If I remember correctly exotic engrams are heavily weighted to give exotic weapons first (following bad luck protection) and then armor afterwards. I don’t think that changes much of the challenge but it’s a fun fact if you happen to do stuff like this again.

Can you play multiplayer at all without PS plus?

@@cbgray There is no way to play any mode that requires multiplayer like Strikes and Crucible at all. The only time you can do it is when PlayStation decides to do the "Free Weekend." This is the only way to play with anyone. Public events and Lost Sectors are the only ones you can do.

The duplicate exotics from Vex Incursions on F2P is due to the RNG choosing an exotic from a DLC and then rerolling since you can't receive it and THAT reroll is not bad luck protected.

I don’t agree. When you watch my next video you’ll change your mind. In the all trophies video (platinum challenge) I only bought 2 of the dlcs for that video. 0 duplicates. I think once you spend money the bad luck protection returns.

I'm going to explain why you got so many dupes on the vex incursions it's because it was trying to give you weapons/armour that it can't give you cuz you don't have the dlc which means it just gives you a completely random (including owned) exotic

An actual F2P player here the answer is everything from red war and and ikora only gives 1 Forsaken exotic for completing the subclass quests and you won't get any more not even unlockable with resources

Quick point on the fireteam finder requiring guardian rank. Thats not a bad thing getting to 5 is literally do like 2 hours of quests and a few dares runs, I personally think that is too little to begin searching to do something like a raid but thats still super accessible. If they wanna lock it should just be the raid and dungeon finder parts.

hey CB, thought this was cool, but if you want to do the paid version again, i recommend doing it on console! you may have to deal with controller input but you wont have to rebuy every DLC since you can gameshare them to the other accounts. If you dont want to, and still support the game, thats perfectly fine! just want content from you.

@@cbgray to add onto what i said, it will gameshare everything that isn’t paid for by silver, so you may have to rebuy the season pass on different accounts but it’s a whole lot cheaper than buying another set of expansions
