I use Pravana color on my hair and clients hair and it's da bomb! It has protein it it too so my curls stay poppin. Also combing through each section after applying the color with a wide tooth comb helps to make sure its applied thoroughly throughout your hair. I also use a hair dryer for about 20 mins to speed up and intensify the process.

I have had silver hair since I was 11. The entire front hairline is white now, and I don't bother coloring my hair at all. This is not to say that I have any judgment about anyone who does. My white and silver hair is very resistant to taking color, even the professional strength, so it's just not worth it to me. What happens is that red/brown hair (yes, this is natural for me) changes color and the white/silver just looks like it's been bedazzled and I have glitter in my hair. While I love the extra shine, it's annoying having people ask me if I put glitter into my hair. I hope you show us what your hair looks like after the second application.

Yes, just like you I must cover my grays and dusty brown and I am a jet black girl too. My new favorite is the Schwarzkopf Keratin Color in Onyx Black. It's a box dye, but the application and end results are great.

I'll only color my hair before I shave it off lol. I wanna shave my hair to a twa one day and then start a loc journey. So right before the twa, I'll probably color my hair. But until then, color wigs and twisting/braiding hair is the only color touching my head haha. My hair is so prone to damage I'm afraid

I want something that'll cover my gray hair and that's the black I'm trying to achieve. But my skin so sensitive, I was in ER after using a liquid henna eyes swollen shut, big large lump on my forehead😳 I was looking like quasimodo!
