Honda 4 cyl 650 CB should have been considered. Also Yamaha MT 07 L model with lower CC and dont forget the unique Suzuki 750.

What would be a good beginner bike in this class or should I go smaller 400cc family? Out of this what is your top 3 for beginners?
@RiderXp2 жыл бұрын
I would recommend a Z400 if you were to goto the 300-400cc family. In the middleweight class, for a beginner, my top 3 would be CB500F, SV650 and the Trident 660 depending on interest and availability. you could also watch the lightweight naked bikes comparison video that i posted yesterday.

@@RiderXp thanks for the help. I am going to look at some today. What would make you choose the z400 over the ktm duke 390?
@RiderXp2 жыл бұрын
Reliability! The Duke 390 is fun to ride and has a lot of bells and whistles but I've had several Duke390 owners complain about heating and electronics issues on them. Kawasaki Z400 is a much less stressed engine and overall platform is more sturdy. Having owned a Kawasaki ZX6R for 3 yrs now, I can confirm that Kawi's are almost as reliable as most other Japanese bikes. Hope this helps.

Surely the CB650R should be in the same category as the mt07 not the CB500F ??

The best vlogs for ideas of what is available on the market and comparison. These vlogs must take a long time to put together and he deserves a lot more subscribers and likes. In reality, he would probably get a lot more views if he fully tested individual bikes. As he says, the Hondas are expensive in comparison to the competitors but you get that back in reliability, quality and even resale value during time of ownership. The Honda CB500F makes total sense with an accountant's head on and by far the best all rounder in Thailand and hence it totally dominates the sector in Thailand. The Honda CB650R with the Neo Cafe Racer looks and those 4 cylinders and exhaust pipe is in my opinion the one to buy believing you do not need to ever upgrade.
@RiderXp2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your support. Completely echo your comments about Hondas, the service cost is also relatively cheaper than Euro bikes. Full testing videos are coming soon.

Great video and audio quality. I liked the format of your other video better (650cc comparisons) because this one with all the memes and funny clips seem to just mimic Yammi noob. Whereas your other video had both charisma and rapid fire facts and figures laid out nicely. Why do you say the CB650R is not a beginner bike?
@RiderXp2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this feedback! This is very helpful. And about the cb650 not being a beginner bike, i’m more in favor of starting off on smaller bikes so the power, weight and acceleration are more manageable and the rider can spend more of their mental bandwidth on technique. Although, I understand that in western countries, especially in US, 650s are also looked at as smaller as they’re being compared with 1000cc or bigger bikes. Just my 2 cents. I’m keen to hear your perspective on that.

I would add the CF Moto CL-X 700 to this list now too. Forget the fact its a Chinese brand, It has a suped-up Kawasaki z650 engine and was designed by the same team as KTM. I've ridden all of these bikes and for me it's the best of the 4 in both looks and features. It has way more bells and whistles and way less plastic than the three here, all while managing to both cost and weigh about the same. It's also the only one with fully adjustable suspension and cruise control which are features normally reserved for high-end sports bikes.
@gsxraiders Жыл бұрын
I'm usually a hater of Chinese products, but I agree with CFMoto. They took the right path by working with KTM. I just hope that the new CFMoto twins don't have the notorious gasket leak that the 790/890 have.

Doesn't the Enfield Interceptor (made in India) count as a mid-sized, naked bike? They're very popular in the UK.

The Suzuki 645cc V-Twin engine IMHO has the most 'character' (and best exhaust note) of the 3 and is about as bullet proof as you can get. This engine can do some SERIOUS kms with only basic maintenance. Either way you wouldn't go wrong with either the MT-07 or SV650. Both are great bikes.

Why 2 wheelers need a car engine or above 300cc spoiling Global environment
@RiderXp2 жыл бұрын
Well, in western countries the average driving speeds are a little higher for 300cc to keep up with regular traffic. A for global environment, eventually electric will take over everything and that would be one of the major solutions.
