RHP Strike --> swinging in-play --> 1st pitch solo HR (high black-mid-in - just late swing - 100mph, 293ft) 4/5 8. IBB (I mean, who can blame ‘em the way you’re hitting the ball?) 8. Looks like all was going well until the 6th, where you guys started up 2-1 and ended down 5-2...) Back to back GINGER SPECIALs, unfortunately in a losing effort in game 2. RHP Ball --> swinging strike (awful swing lol - waaaaay low-out) --> 4th pitch ground force out (well-pitched...still, could be 2-2 had you taken all 4 pitches (none were good to hit) 4/9 ***2 Ks and 2 ground outs to close this series out...unfortunately this game didn’t match up with your performances in the first 2. On the good side, the team won the game and as a result, the series!*** SERIES First pitch: 8 balls, 4 strikes First pitch result: taken for ball = 3, swinging strike = 9 (4 in-zone, 5 outside), called strike = 0 AB Results: 1/2 w/ BB after taking first pitch, 4/9 w/ 3 HR after swinging at first pitch Series - 5/11, 3 HR, 7 RBI, BB, 3 IBB Notes - Good to see you mashing the ball early in this series, back in MVP form for a bit there! - 2 straight series with 3 IBBs...that’s respect from the opponent! - Still really don’t love seeing that you swung at 5 of 8 first pitches outside the zone. Strongly suggests that maybe some of that early success was due to pitchers throwing bad pitches...even so, you certainly didn’t miss any of those mistakes, and that’s what counts!!! - Series started VERY strong, and slowly got worse as it progressed. Still swingin’ at way too many pitches outside the zone! - Also seems you’re on a bit of a heater against lefties...maybe that’s the X factor...

That sidearm delivery was BRUTAL in both times I faced him... easily the hardest pitcher to hit that I saw in this series. Getting a bit more pop off the bat was much needed to snap out of this early season funk. As usual, thanks for the stats and analysis!
