Next challenge idea could be beating subnautica without using the repair tool. Could make the game a lot harder and I’m pretty sure it’s still possible to beat the game

doing this also saves the sunbeam, as a prerequisite for that event to start is repairing (or building) the radio. also repairing the aroura is only a quality of life feature so you don't need the radiation suit

⁠​⁠@@LunaBit985 you still need the radiation suit to get the rocket to “leave” and “beat the game” but other than that you really don’t need it unless you need to enter into the radiation zone for any reason

Next should be PRAWN only. (He could just make the cyclops for the shield gen, and let it get destroyed by a Levithan, same with the depth mk1, build the moonpool then destroy it, also you can make depth Mk2 and 3 in the modification station. arm upgrades aren't needed.) Edit: I forgot he can't use a fabricator.

Not only is it not possible cause you need the shipped generator you also can't build a base so no moon pool so you can upgrade your pawn

You can actually build that depth module below depth. Just build a modification station near the upgrades thing, take it out, modify it, and put it back quick. Doesn't even actually cause damage yet

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you're running low on lithium and/or diamonds, try looking around the gun island. It has a shit ton of shale outcrops and lithium in it. I filled my entire inventory with lithium and diamonds once from that place alone.

​@@swagar nope, new time capsules aren't being added to the game. There's a website for community voting on launched capsules, and the queue was paused 5 years ago now, so the last time capsules were from 2019

I would seriously hate this challenge if I were doing it. I already dislike the cyclops since by the time you're in the deepest areas of the game you can just use teleporters and walking with the prawn is just a safer, faster alternative. The thing is cool don't get me wrong but it just ratchets up my stress with every clunk and roar.

He didn't listen to my previous comment. He would have had plenty of full power cells if he had. The safe shallows have a couple of heatvents where a cyclops can charge up for some time.

you know what you could have done? you could have made 6 extra power cells and have 6 in the cyclops and 6 charging at all times so when the ones in the cyclops are dead you can just replace them

next challenge, already tried and its possible: BEAT THE GAME WITHOUT USING ANY VEHICLES (with using i mean moving, we still need shield generator sadly), the strategy is using triple oxygen tank for going deeper and using alien and brain coral for restoring oxygen into all the tank, the part that i found harder is the lost river, since there are so many river prowler, i used something like 20 medikit, but you will probably need less than me since im bad at dodging

Fun fact: in danger you can just turn off the engine and get out of seat. Cyclops won't get any damage, leviathan will just push it. Also, everyone (exept power sucking bois) will completely lose interest in it.

I just did a playthrough where my only base was a moonpool in the safe shallows and a cyclops, but I had a seamoth and then a prawn, so it really wasn't so hard. And for some reason, the seadragon completly ignored me.

I loved these videos so much I bought Subnautica on my other xbox, and then I used every literally every single ion cube in the entire game to make ion power cells and ion batterys like a moron and then didn't have any cubes to make purple tablets to disarm the enforcement platform so i lost the challenge lmaaaooooo (i named my cyclops the S.S. RV)

For your next challenge, I'd like to see you do Seamoth only, with primitive Bases available only once you reach the 900m limit of the Seamoth. After hatching the Emperor Leviathans, you may freely build anything you want, be it a vehicle or a Base.

You should try and beat Subnautica: Below Zero with only a sea truck. It would be harder as it isn’t as big and doesn’t allow you to build stuff inside but the compartments you attach to it allow the challenge to be possible.

Why did you leave the lava zone to upgrade the depth module? Instead of just popping it out and upgrading it down there? You maybe would take 1% hull damage in the time it took to upgrade and replace it, if that.
