It’s amazing how many wives out there know their husbands are child predators, and stand by and do nothing knowing full well what’s going on in their sons/daughters rooms, and then turns everyone against the victim because they spoke up about it. Love truly makes people blind. And I feel a sadness in my heart for all the unfortunate souls who don’t have family anymore because they did the right thing. It’s sad, but if your family turns against you for doing the right thing, they were never family. You don’t need them, and I hope these victims live long and happy lives having adventures around every corner, and making enough money live comfortably.

I can't understand a woman who would marry a pedophile. My abuser got remarried after he finished his disgustingly unjust short prison sentence. My mother made sure she knew about what he'd done as soon as they got together, and she even claims to BELIEVE ME, but says she "forgives him" (uhh for what? He didn't molest or rape YOU lady. Kinda not your place to forgive him.) It's all under the guise of being a "good forgiving Christian" but idk. She has young granddaughters ffs!! What kind of sick woman puts her family at risk to marry a known pedophile. I never can understand. Frankly, I'd rather her call me a liar & not believe me, because this is just sickening and so much worse.

@@sansequanimity5998 I can guess. He gave her life stability, a home and house, no attitude problem, no cheating or infidelity, no drinking or gambling or burdening her with other wasteful hobbies, paid all the bills or taxes on time, pamper her with money and adequate attention as a husband, and other normal marriage stuff. She basically approve of his other redeeming points that doesn't immediately put her own life or sanity at risk and is willing to look the other way because he charmed her all around.

I’m a gay male. I’m in the army guard and there was a sergeant who was married to a woman. In the bathroom multiple times he touched me and grabbed me inappropriately. I told him if he did it one more time I would report him and make them start an investigation. He told me if I reported him that he has my nude pics through a mutual hook up and would send my pics around. Still went and reported him anyway. There was a huge investigation. He was moved to a different unit, demoted, and his wife divorced him. I have no regrets. I’m probably not the only person he’s done this to.

@@cvrsed_1360 it could be a lot of things. Could be that this was something that happened to them when they were younger so they think nothing of it. Most of the time it's because believing that someone you love has done something like this would mean challenging your own identity. Something that human beings are loathed to do. Also, the public persona of a sexual predator is of an ugly obvious monster. Most sexual predators live normal unassuming lives. So the picture of a predator and the picture of their family member doesn't match causing a cognitive dissonance. This is in no way excusing their actions. It is truly disgusting what both parties did. It's just an explanation. It's useful to know as if something like that were to happen in your life you can recognise the feelings of disbelief. Most people just go along with their feelings whether they realise it or not.

After so many stories of victims of sexual abuse/rape by a family member getting accosted and blamed for their abuser getting prosecuted, stumbling onto the story where the abuser wasn't prosecuted but was effectively excommunicated by the WHOLE FAMILY at once was refreshing. A truly good person will turn their child in to the cops if they find out their child is guilty of sexual abuse, rape, molestation, etc., because a truly good person would hold their child accountable for anything they'd demand accountability for from anyone else's child.
@DragonbornMike-ym2er

Alot of these stories are like "I was friends with an unfaithful person who constantly cheats on their partner, but when they betrayed me specifically that was unforgivable, so I did the good thing and reported their behaviour to the relevant parties". No, you're not a good person for that. You knew someone was a piece of trash, you didn't do anything when they were a piece of trash, and only cared when it affected you. You don't get brownie points for that stuff.

They gaslight you with that chicken sh!t stance they aren't taking sides in something that's just, "between you two" only. Which is taking the side of who's screwing you over by not condemning them for violating you. The implication is they approve, and therefore couldn't be aiding and abetting your tormenter with any more detriment to you if they were openly partnering with them against you. At least you could stop kidding yourself to bother trying to reason with someone guaranteed to argue in bad faith. Divorce from a lieing, cheating, but also hot wife tends to reveal the type when they take her side no matter how big a scumbag she is in the off chance their beta orbiting chump asses get to lap up your leftovers. Just the most disgust inducing disgraceful behavior of the shamelessly bastard class they truly are.

@brandonwilliams4050

I’ll be honest, I think she bears some of the blame as well. Yes the guy should have gone to the hospital/called a doctor and it sounds like he was too depressed from his life circumstances to really function well. But on the other hand if you see someone you know well is visibly sick and you brush it off...yes you deserve to feel a little bad if something terrible comes from it. She says she was sixteen-that’s more than old enough to make the decision to at least let someone know or mention it briefly. From what the girl says, it sounds like she was having too much fun and just brushed it off as nothing. Understandable but still worth feeling bad over.
@Somehowstillkicking

@@brandonwilliams4050 you say that as if every 16 yr knows what a serious situation like a heart attack looks like or that they aren't more suceptible to the "Everything is alright I'm just imagining things" mentality, we barely think they are mature enough to drive alone of course its not really her fault if she didn't inform anyone, cause then we ask why did the daughter, another 16 yr old, call someone else? A family friend or call OP back? She didnt check up on her dad until it was too late and that still doesn't mean its her fault, hell I wouldn't blame the dad for trying to remain positive either! I saw someone having a heart attack in front of me while I was a teen, a little younger than OP and I didn't realize it was happening, the guy looked sleepy and pale but also weird in a way. When you looked at him your first thought wasn't "OH SHIT HE'S HAVING A HEART ATTACK" I thought he was having a stomachache or Gastritis, it wasnt until he asked me and the other people in the room to go out, for someone he called rushing into the room and then an ambulance to suddenly appear that I realize this man was having something worse than a bad case of nausea So not blaming anyone for not considering a heart attack cause honestly what were the odds?? Its not like everyone knows how it looks or feels, most people know when its too late

The guy that didn't do cpr on his coworker shouldn't beat himself up too bad even when cpr is properly applied there is only about an 11% chance that the victim won't suffer some kind of brain damage because of the lack of oxygen, cpr just doesn't suffice next to a normal oxygen flow he did the best he could with the information he had.

I was shoved off a stool by an older dude in a bar. It was in a small town so I knew who he was but didn’t know the guy. I got up and hit him once. He fell down like a rag doll and split his head on the concrete floor. Heard through the grapevine he was in the hospital for a while and started having lots of problems with random seizures. A few months later I heard he was killed in a single vehicle car accident. They say he just lost control for no reason and went off the road and crashed hard. I’ll never know if he crashed because of a seizure, caused by a head injury that I inflicted on him. I sometimes feel guilty but he’s as much to blame as me.

He's not as much to blame as you. He moved you off a chair and you cracked his head open causing serious brain damage? What because your little ego was hurt. You very well could have just got another stool or just said something passive aggressive. Violence wasn't the answer so no. Don't put blame on someone whose dead now. Take accountability for your actions man.

@@Tinf0iI yeah. I’m not really upset about it anymore. Despite what the lunatic above said it’s not like the guy was going to just leave me alone once I found another seat in the bar. Guys like that don’t just stop because you ask them to. Fuck him.

Nobody who is 20 and is not already a tennis pro on the circuit will be a pro. And nobody on the circuit makes any money at all - really none - unless and until they move up out of the ITF “world tour” where they compete with a couple of thousand others. It has been described as “purgatory”. Only if they get to the very top of this international league do they get to the next tier, the “futures” with a few hundred competitors. Only now do they start making more money than the travel, hotels, coaching and so on costs. They are still hundreds of competitors shy of being anyone the public ever heard of. They are still not even in the top “tour”.

I didn't do this, but my best friend told me the who: her first cousin. Both in their early 20s, my bf, addicted hardcore to lortabs. One night, her cousin said that for all of those lortabs, just take some Heroin. Gave my bf some and got her addicted bad. That was 12 years. And we're all in the methadone clinic.

I dated a lower om and off for half a decade. He was a gaslighting abusive narc that tried to destroy me. He also threatened to unalive himself for half a decade. Things started declining when he showed up to work one day drenched in sweat and reeking of alcohol. I should've stopped it right then and there. He cut himself off from county employment. I had my own problems with alcohol. Got the help I needed and sobered up. I've since list 20 pounds, dyed my hair and bought a new car. Ive also been promoted. As for my ex he's still a deadbeat without a job. And I'm not sorry. He can blame me all he wants. Literally don't care if he unalives himself at this point. Or if he's happy. You try to destroy me and you'll face the consequences

How does one be fully financially dependent on their partner yet still cheat? There's no freaking love behind that, only exploitation.

The story @ 26:04 is a toss up for me only because he states that his ex friend slept with his girlfriend at the time by him and his cousin getting her high and raping her. This is where I'm not sure if this really happened or not. In my experience, many women use this excuse because it gives them a chance to be the victim and when they claim rape, then cheating wasn't her fault. Now, this could be true and she really was raped, but if it was, then if I was the OP I would have her go file a police report on both of the guys. But, like I said, I'm not sure if this is really the case.

T.W. My best friend and I got into an argument over me doing something toxic.. her sister (I called her sister myself) was introduced to someone through my home. Someone I allowed to live with me, he ended up getting her into hard drugs (she'd recovered from alcohol recently) locked her in his vehicle drugged *I'm sure assaulting her while drugged ..* Which lead to her overdose just a month or two after they met. He was living with his nephew in my home.. hes now in prison for life for other crimes.. but I'd love some kind of revenge.. I'd love for him to feel the way he made her feel. And he distanced her from me during that time (I was also really sick and was battling sepsis and getting my first feeding tube surgically implanted.. and recovering) Then THEN my best friend (her sister, my mind twin) had a baby and a month later their momma died.. I ruined a whole FAMILY.. and it's not technically my fault but fuck I feel the guilt.. every day. They were my family. Her momma, I called momma.. 🥺

If you were sexually abused and testified against your offender but your/their family has complained you ruined their life, repeat after me: "I did not ruin this sex offender's life. He/She/They tried to ruin mine, but got caught dealing with the consequences of his/her/their actions and really ended up ruining his/her/their own life." There, that's more accurate.

24:00 Why more successful? Why would a JV player tearing his MCL and ACL influence their career in any way? He couldn’t even make the high school varsity team. I don’t care if he was only a freshman. The best players are on varsity day 1. So he was going to have a career in something other than football. He wasn’t going to get a a scholarship almost certainly. He broke your tackle then someone else tackled him and hurt him? I’m a thread about ruining someone else’s life... This is about the biggest stretch imaginable...
