I Confused my Friends by Making Their Cars FLY!

Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today I figured out a weird way to turn Zeepkist into a flying game so I made a map where you have to fly your car from start to finish!

It would be hilarious if Yannic added "this is pain" as an un-cheat code. If you type it in chat, it knocks one of your wheels off at random next time you go through a checkpoint.

I love that. But make it drop the wheel off the next time you land (i.e. when you stop being airborne). That would be less obvious, because you'd just assume you landed too hard. And make the effect not just stick until the next time it applies (whether checkpoint or landing), but for 40 seconds. [edit:] And it would need to upload a video of the person who did that to yannic's server, so that our guys can include the footage in their videos.

Man Fiets really just wanted to make a casual soap box car racing game using gravity and conservation of momentum as the main mechanic. I do not think he expected some random scrap mechanic KZbinrs to pick up his game and thrust it into popularity to the point he's added all these new interesting mechanics that get us from gravity cars to f*** planes..

Now it's not only a racing game where it's in the hands of the track creator to decide where your car accelerates. But the track builders have literally come up with a whole arsenal of challenges (from speed checks to rail grinds and drifts) to now flying, that they can chain together at will.

A lot of people say that you make "painful" tracks but what if you were to make an actually painful track? Like what would the mastermind of "painful" tracks come up with when he really tries. Like maybe put a rng thing at the end that decides if you win or not

Plinko board, but you are the ball/disk. The track is a sphere that you ride on the inside of, with an omni-booster that allows you to go higher and higher up. And to get to the finish you have to drop off at the exact top apex and drop straight down through a series of checkpoints, and the finish ring is just above the bottom so that you can't reach it from below. ....is probably not even in the same league with what kAN would do.

Cool idea, but it's the most boring zeepkist video I've watched. We're literally staring at a blue screen the whole time, i can't even see the checkpoint until like 5 seconds before reaching it. You should have put something to make it look better. Scale up some boxes for buildings. Make some kind of obstacle or paint rocks for clouds. The occasional bird would be great. Anything to break up the empty sky

True to be honest when I built this I was just really excited that the concept worked. The general consensus was to add a slowster for more control so I'll have to try that and see if I can make a flying track with obstacles!
