The RNG is just the first step. Digital devices are considered slots and regulates as such. Casinos are legally allowed to control payout percentages in software. Numbers vary but can be as low as 75%. Most of the bigger casinos advertise numbers above 90%. They use various tactics to hide that face as in bubble craps machines which appear to be subject to gravity but in fact are manipulated to meet the payout requirements, as are all digital gaming devices. I'm wondering if the strategy of moving around different digital games on Stake with short sniper targeted runs may help to randomize the overall effect for an individual player (but not the entire population of players, casinos know to the fraction of a penny how much they make on every click or pull and they don't necessarily target individual players expecially ones that move around). The technology behind chatGPT 4o and beyond may change all that along with the rest of the world.

The opposite of random is manipulated so to digital and ETG roulette are rigged and you are correct that in many ways these versions of roulette function as slot machines. Conveniently, these manipulated spins that result in forced losses more often than not occur when player makes higher value bets. At my local casino, there are 6 seats at the ETG roulette. The difference in winning % when I’m playing solo versus when all 6 seats are occupied, is significant. When many players and bets involved, these machines are forced to decide over many spins, the best result for the casino, resulting in the least payout.

Long term yes, short term not so much, depends on your tolerance for mind numbing boredom and your definition of what winning looks like. On Stake Mines set 1 mine, make your bet look like $0.10, hit play once and cash out, lose, (4 in 100) make your bet look like $3.20, hit play once. Win and you are even, lose again (1.6 in 1,000) quit down 9 units, $0.90 . Come back later and rinse and repeat, quit when up $1. With $0.10 bet you make $0.005 per try (never said you will pay off your house doing this). Take care of your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves. (Benjamin Franklin) In the real world you can scale up to larger bets, The key is set a reasonable goal ($30 for instance) and adjust to get there ASAP,
