I appreciate your bravery and the way you've been taking care of yourself despite the challenges,as a HIV professional I would encourage you to continue taking your ARVS, you're still HIV positive,the test can show false results especially if you had already achieved viral suppression,if you continue not taking your meds,your partner is at risk of getting infected since you're not on treatment, prayer is good but it doesn't eliminate HIV from the body,hope you change your mind and take your drugs

Well, I have listened to a few documentaries about the origin of HIV and the stigma that it was associated with in South Africa. So many people died as they secluded from society, and then gay men were persecuted as the constitution did not include LGBTQ rights. You are supposed to test again 3 months after first test because it CAN take up to 3Month for it to show up on test results

People who have attained viral suppression often get negative results. It doesn't mean they are negative. It means the viral load is so low that it cannot be detected easily by the rapid tests. Bottom line: ARVs are long life medications. He needs to be taught this at the CCC. I wonder where he attends his clinic, they need to enlighten him.
