Little did the sister know said penny was worth millions... Pretty sure not long ago there was a story about something at a thrift store where someone found in the pocket a coin or something of huge value. An older friend of mine had a little pocket sewn in all of his suits for a token from his early days. To be honest I have no clue what it was, yet after he passed there was something in his will about it and the kids were talking about wonder what it was and had no clue what it was. I only knew about it as we were talking about something related as to an inner pocket and he had showed me his and patted it as if it was something special. After hearing about it while we stood outside smoking. I made mention of it to them and to which they asked me what it was and then proceeded to tell me that they had already cleaned out and tossed all of the personal effects of his and or donated them. Some time later one of them told me that they did try and get back some of the clothes from the thrift stores only to be informed that most of what is donated is sorted and recycled or tossed in the trash or sold. What ever it was they did not get it and to this day no one has a clue what it is. For all we know it was a rock....
