hummus recipe: chickpeas, cold water or ice chunks (keeps the hummus white and makes the hummus smoother), a bit of lemon juice (not too much unless u like it like that), you blend that together giving you a like too smooth base and then you add the tahini (and add a cup of tahini not a few tbsp). The tahini thickens the hummus up a lot so add in portions. If you add the tahini before you blend the first portion you will jack up your blender.
