KeKe, just fyi......Anytime you're making a seafood boil(it's best to use raw Shrimp) and anytime you have to add Shrimp to something, you always add the Shrimp LAST so they won't be overcooked, tough & rubbery. Especially if you're using already cooked Shrimp, definitely put them in last just to heat them through, not cook them. Still looks yummy. 💖💖

Hey sis I love you! Trial & error when cooking a boil, although yours looked bomb, I have some pointers! When starting a boil, only add your seasoning to the water & allow it to come to a boil before adding anything. While waiting on the water to come to a boil, be rinsing your ingredients. I rinse any seafood with salt water & rinse my corn and potatoes & put them all to the side. Once a boil is created, add your potatoes only for about 10 minutes, then add your corn. Once your corn has cooked about 10 minutes, add your crab legs/lobster & your eggs which only take about 20-25 minutes in all to cook. So once your crab legs/lobster has been cooking for about 10 minutes, add your shrimp at the very end, allowing them to turn pink. Keep in mind that shrimp doesn’t take long at all & has a rubbery consistency if over cooked. Let sit for about 10-15 minutes & enjoy mama! It was such a joy watching you interact with your beautiful family! I would love to see more content like this! You should go live while cooking more often so we can give ideas or even cook with you! I LOVE me some KEKE. She has one of the most amazing voices in the music industry. She is so underrated. KEKE can sing the dictionary and bring you to tears. Mama Wyatt looks good. Next time let the water get hot. Boil the eggs first, add seasoning, add corn then add the seafood last since it takes a shorter time to cook. Always remember the more water the longer it takes to have a boil so turn the fire up and close your lid. Also since the crab seasoning has salt it helps the eggs peel easier. Don’t be scared to use the crab seasoning you have plenty of water.

Using the shrimp already cooked make them tough and rubbery in the boil, unless you thraw them out in hotwater, season them and add them to the boil at the end for flavor.

Thats normally the rule of thumb with me also, yet when u put them in frozen they thaw as the water heats and it boils. Some people start their water with seasoning and things and bring it up to temp, whereas I bring the water, butter, potatoes and some of the seasoning to a boil, then add things in. All depends on how u do it I guess

Hi keke! I wash all that ice off with warm water before cooking my frozen seafood. The seafood taste better when you rinse it off. Everything looks delicious! I add the shrimp last too.
