Roy can be aggressive with pressure or play more of a whiff punish game because of his speed. Leo’s Roy is more of the latter, which he’s very accustomed to as a Joker main. In that regard, I think it’s a good choice. Simpler to play with higher reward, sans Arsene.

Just some fuel for thought, as I am in no position to give you any advice, but as a Roy main there are a few things that help. Wavebounce and b reverse side b are your best friend for getting down, especially on stages with platforms There is almost nothing that down smash does better than f-tilt, f-tilt kills at roughly the same percent, with it being a lot safer

From watching you progress through the years, you're excellent at knowing all the options of your opponent and how to punish when you inevitably out space them. so the easy characters are the ones that can get in and punish severely without worrying too much about execution. Hence this Roy pick.

Aegis would be so much better if you mixed them into one. Mythra cant kill and Pyra has awful disadvantage. Pair that with an abysmal recovery and its no wonder the character cant consistently win majors. The only saving grace of the character are the ridiculous active hitboxes pyra has imo mythra is super overrated even though she has one of the best neutral out of the whole roster (sheik with a sword).
