Young Muslims is a pioneering national youth organization that has been on the youth scene since the early 90's. We have established a well organized network of local youth groups that we call NeighborNets (which means network of neighbors) across the United States and Canada. Each NeighborNet is a dynamic youth group which attempts to build a solid understanding of the principles of Islam amongst its members by helping them put these principles into practice. By providing the youth with an Islamic atmosphere where they can form bonds of brotherhood with their peers, they become comfortable with Islam and its teachings. We stress the importance of knowing, understanding, and fulfilling our individual and collective obligations as Muslims.

This lecture makes so much sense, and since I agree with its content I've started reading about Saidina Umar al-Khattab (I've finished reading a book on the Holy Prophet PBUH at this point). I'm not done yet with the book on Umar but I am already in awe of the next best after Saidina Abu Bakr. You can't love them until you know who these prominent figures are, so do something about that so you can try to cultivate love for them. Jazakallah khair for sharing this lecture

Alhamdoulillah i was fortunate enough to visit the tomb of Umm Haram in the city of Larnaca in Cyprus. It's so inspiring to hear her story again how it confrims that it's always about our intentions when it comes to our relationship with Allah. Thank you for this beautiful reminder.
