The process is amazing. The material cost is one thing but damn the labor! Most people watching this probably understand but holy cow what a labor of love. Keep up the good work!

I’m guessing another 10 grand for labor and equipment.

In a year from now it’ll be good. In two years very good. In five- perfect. You should do a video with an long term plans or wish list ideas .

Great idea.

We would mix the bent seed in Milorganite and use a drop spreader for consistency and ease of spreading. The Milorganite had a very low burn rate and would act as a starter.

@@SpudRunGolf again, this cost is going to be repaid in more video likes, more traffic on your channel from the work that you put in and the content that you’ll be able to do, and your guys/gals that play will be so happy to have more room to shoot to on the green. It’s a definite home run and the satisfaction that you will get from it will be even more incredible. The fruits of your labor will be overflowing!! Happy for you, buddy!! Sorry for the short response initially, I didn’t want to watch and not leave something!!

Great job as always. Looking forward to seeing the new tie in with the old. From an aerial view it looks like a true proper size opposed to the old postage stamp (that was tough to hit from several tees!). The golf course list shown has a bunch of world class courses on it, so Spud Run is running with the big boys now.

Now everyone should know why golf cost so much. I was working at Sedgefield CC when they did the rebuild. They did not use any fabric in the greens. I was the guy that rolled the greens just before and after seeding.
@SpudRunGolf2 жыл бұрын
They say the average green cost $100k to build.

In this hole process, do you regret any of it. I get that most of this backyard golf course can be very satisfying. I guess what I'm asking is, is there one thing that you regret about the hole thing. Great stuff to by the way.

It's a waste of money. 90% sand and 10% peat is a perfect rootzone mix for everyone bentgrass cultivars. If you used penncross that was a horrible move. Poa grass enjoys this kinda of rootzone mix
