Nice Haul Klipsch (pronounced Clipsch.) Started in 1946 and have been well known for their loudspeakers. Over the years they have branched out to other electronics but still mainly in the Loudspeaker world. Pricing ranging from 100 bucks to 15,000.00 a pair.
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
Sheesh! Sounds like I need to start keeping an eye out on the speakers 😂. Thanks for the heads up on the brand I appreciate the info! Now I just need to find that 15k set 😎
@nonsuchned943 жыл бұрын
Klipsch is definitely a brand to look for. I always look up good looking loud speakers- but you always have to look. Good companies occasionally have bad product and if you don't know the name, be very careful. I did get pretty burned picking up some "White Van Speaker Scam" (look it up- it's on wiki) "Media Center" speakers. The thrift store printed out a "selling on eBay" page saying they were listed at $300, (but had no wifi to double-check sold prices. I paid $60. Got home and found NONE have sold- because they are crap. They function, but are cheap as shit. after a year, I recently sold them on Facebook for $35 with a very truthful description.

I started my reselling journey September of 2020. My first platform to sell on is Mercari. I have had good luck on it. What I like most about Mercari. Is how they collect the funds prior to shipping. It cuts down the fraud. Poshmark. I don’t like because of all the fake followers and party hosting.
@jetta073 жыл бұрын
I sell enough that I don’t want to completely walk away but I dislike Poshmark’s fees and all of the “followers.” I feel like it just takes up too much time to refresh things frequently.

But you forgot to mention about the huge cut they take and you don’t get paid till after you ship it off and you have to wait for the buyer to rate it
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
The fees are in line with other platforms like eBay. I believe they are at about 13% which is what a lot of eBay sales come out to being. And not getting paid until it ships prevents scams and the rating allows a good gauge of a sellers / buyers history on the site. Unlike eBay where sellers are unable to provide negative feedback. Overall I like the system.

@80sWavrDude3 жыл бұрын
I'll never understand why other resellers pass up on items because they don't want to pay up for something that costs $50 that can be flipped for $300 or $400. Today I found a Logitech Remote still new in the box that sells routinely for $300 and up on Ebay. Great sell-thru rate. Another reseller saw it in my cart and said "I see you grabbed the remote." I was like, "Yeah, and why did you not grab it?" Not that I minded that he left it behind, but c'mon, bruh.. Why would you leave something like that behind because you didn't want to pay the $29.99 they had on it? DOH
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome. Yeah I think some people are afraid of committing to larger investments in items because they don’t want to be out the money if it doesn’t sell. But, as long as they comp it out correctly there’s no problem paying up for something at all. Just gotta trust your skills haha. Great snag in the remote 👍

Always a bit leary when the "sponsors" start coming in...the unbiased opinions and the raw/truthful footage gets less and less lol.. Hopefully you stay the same with content. That wasn't a gijoe though, think it was either lannard/corps/remco figure.
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
They aren’t the first sponsorship I have done. I get inquiries from company’s every day for partnerships but I turn 99% down. I only accept it ones that either I personally use (like mercari) or ones that I think would be useful to the viewers. I think total I’ve only accepted like 4 companies for video sponsors. The content won’t be skewed by them 👍

Ready set resell does a fabulous job. And one of the things that makes it good is he is very direct no bullshit approach to what he’s doing. And that’s why people keep coming back to view him. I think your remark was snarky and undeserved.

@@jm24247Why even bring it up? its cynical as well. yeah, you wrote "hopefully" [incorrect usage] meaning that he might change. that ain't exactly a compliment. you stood in judgment of sellers who accept sponsorship. not everyone is a sell-out and you should not express concern about RSR in that regard.

God, as a mom who paid between $90 & $110 for my daughter's American Girl dolls I wanted to weep when they sold that one to you for $1! I told my now 16 year old to say goodbye to her old dolls since we're moving and need space! I love watching your videos because it helps me know what to sell at our garage sales and what to list online. I'm also going thru 50 yrs of my deceased parent's items and I don't know what to do with a lot of it. We found hundreds of the little pictures squares you have to put into a projector to view on a wall or screen. I saw other people are selling those too, which I found kinda strange at first. Like who wants someone else's family pictures? But my dad has some cool shots when they traveled in the 50's and 60's that someone might want to buy. My dad also has a big ship's bell mounted on wood that belonged to a container ship that crashed off the shores in Australia in the 40's or 50's. Wth do I do with that? I can't figure out if it's worth anything online so far and it's heavy. He also had a camera and a video recorder from the 80's that I'm trying to figure out a price for. I can't figure out how to turn the camera on because there's no place to put batteries that I can see and there's no manual. It has a really nice zoom lense too that I would just sell separately but I can't figure out how to get it off! I'd appreciate any advice you could give me!
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
Glass Slides have a good market. I would lot them up and sell them as bulk. The bell would probably sell on eBay but you would need to keyword it well and it might sit a bit waiting for the right buyer. Also, make sure you weigh it to figure out the correct shipping price before hand. And the camera I can’t be much help on without actually seeing it. But selling the lenses separate might be a good idea 👍
@Jenna.Im.Just.Saying3 жыл бұрын
WOW...You might want to check the pronunciation for brands before you say them LMAO. I completely get mis-saying Klipsch if you've never heard of them, even though they are a fairly high end audio company, but to mispronounc Echo? No excuse for that one 🤔😂 It's pretty disappointing that you just wanted to push a video out quickly instead of doing some research & your due diligence to only say numerous times, "I don't know how much this is worth" or "Not sure the value on this". 😒 Lastly, not sure about anyone else, but a 23 minute video with 2 minutes of sponsorship, 15 minutes of talking about things you're unsure of and only 6 minutes of thrifting footage is kinda boring & lame. It feels like you aren't even trying anymore and are only interested in the income you can pull in from pushing out content 😔
@ReadySetResell3 жыл бұрын
If the thing you get out of these videos Is that I occasionally mispronounce a brand then that’s on you. As for not knowing how much stuff is worth. The market is always changing its literally impossible to know everything at all times. I bought some of the stuff knowing I could make money but not the exact price. I’m showing you all how I operate with full transparency. You don’t have to know exact prices before you buy as long as you have a decent general idea. And just to be clear I just scrubbed back through the video and I said I didn’t know the price of like 4 items out of all the stuff I showed. And all that stuff was little throw in items I had never sold before. I gave price estimates on the vast majority of items in this video on top of all the other information on why to buy and what to look for. So I’m not sure where you get that notion from. Maybe pay closer attention to what you are watching? Next for the footage I could easily have thrown In the full footage of hours of walking around sales. But guess what? Just seeing someone walk around not buying stuff would be boring. That’s why all of the footage gets edited down to only when I’m buying stuff. As for the rest of the video, that’s the educational part it’s literally where people learn about items and why I bought them. It’s why people watch these videos, for the information and to learn. Lastly if you think I am making videos for the money you are sadly mistaken. The amount of money I make on these videos is not much compared to the time I put into them. It would come out to well under minimum wage. To put it in perspective I’ve made less then 15k since I started my channel 2ish years ago. If I was doing this for money I would have stopped a long time ago. I’m here to help educate others. Lastly Jenna if you don’t appreciate the information I put out and the work I put into these videos feel free to leave and create your own content. I’m sure it’ll be much better and to you liking. Have a good day!
