@@defcon1africa676 No... I did not fast to get delivered.. Fasting doesn't work.. it only disciplines the flesh and even if i fast, i later find myself back to the addiction... It's a Spiritual battle against demons or Spirits... To be set free you just need to get Delivered from their bondages... How I got delivered is... I just watched a video on this pastor's KZbin channel called "Hungry Generation". It was about a lady giving her Testimony about how she got delivered from Porn and Masturbation. And I know I was battling the same problem and praying that God should deliver me... I tell you the Truth... I got delivered just by Watching that Video and I decided within my Spirit Never to go back again... I think I did some prayers of deliverance after the videos as well.. And it's being 2 years now since then... I have not Masturbated neither have i knownany porn site...😊❤️ It is a thing of Great Joy... Although those urges comes but it isn't like before anymore that I couldn't control it... I'm able to Overcome it just by the Name of Jesus 😊❤️ There's power in his Name❤️❤️❤️

You don't have alcoholism. But if you believe you do you empower the spirit. That's the world's language. You are more than a conqueror and For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Realize, that temptation is a demon that needs to go. Once I commanded it to go and renounced it and repented and realized it was a demon and not me, I was delivered. It took a couple of weeks and no more temptation.

You could try Alcoholics Anonymous. Alot of people get sober through the 12 Step program that it offers.

Vlad said that the more he fasted, the worse things got. Derek Prince had the same experience when he was depressed. The more he fasted and prayed, the worse the depression got. It was only when he stopped blaming himself and realized that it was an actual person (demon) causing the depression, that he started to break free. And when he called on the name of the Lord, that's when he got totally delivered from the spirit of heavyness.

Lord helped me to overcome this issue of porn & masturbation when I started living a life of fasting & prayer. and indeed , things get worse during the initial phase of fasting. but now I am totally free, It's been almost a year Absolutely Clean :) I was engaged into that sin for I don't know how many years and I started at 6/7 YO. and I was still committing that sin even 13 years AFTER being born again. But I know now- No matter how far gone we are, Jesus can still heal us if we call for help and totally surrender to Him.

Do you still identify with your old self? If you've been born again, the Bible says you're a new creation. I'm willing to bet, if you've been born again, for the first while you had a tangible sense of that. Then it faded and you fell back into your sin. The reason this happens isn't because of demons, it's because we don't renew our minds. Go study out what Romans 6 is about, what Ephesians says about putting off the old man and putting on the new man. Go learn what it means to enter into the kingdom and what it means to be a new creation.

I had the same problem as you. I suffered with hyperthyroidism which caused problems with my thyroid. I was skinny with a right eye bigger than the other and for that reason I was so shy and insecure. Every time that someone noticed my right eyes, it felt like something heavy on me, to survive I made myself isolated watching porn. Everyday I was watching it. I cound not stop it. But now I repent myself for all those disgusting things and with God I know I can beat this devil temptation. Amen!
