Funny thing - I'm not a pilot, not even close .. nothing to do with aviation, but I always enjoy watching everything related coming from MojoGrip .. it's a knowledge.

A friend if my is a former Navy fighter pilot and all he does is study weather before flying. It's amazing how much he is "weather aware."

Thats too much bank angle from base to final. 22:00 where most accidents accure. safe flights!

It didn't look excessively steep to me. It all depends on how much margin above the critical angle of attack he has. Bank angle, airspeed, and aircraft weight are all factors.

Hi Mike, I have been looking into flying for so many years and also have been watching your channel for a long time but I am thinking of taking the next step and getting into a flight school but have a question for you. What do you think would be an affordable and comfortable air plane for a 6. 11" tall guy?
@nyrubin2 жыл бұрын
Depending how long your legs are it might be difficult but if you have the money to buy a plane I wouldn't see you wouldn't be able to customize the seat or pedal placement. Not saying it'll be easy but I'm pretty sure it can be done
@dh-flies2 жыл бұрын
Affordable is a relative factor only you can set. I own a Bristell E-LSA and my plane will accommodate a 6'8" pilot/passenger. However, I've seen a 7' man easily fit, but I think how long your legs are and how tall your torso is comes into play. There is a great deal of headroom. I'm 5'11" and I have the pedals as short as you can go. All the way forward, and I couldn't touch them. The cabin is 51" making it one of the widest cabins in an LSA. Wider than almost all Cessnas. Also, The Bristell is on the top of the scale for quality, equipment and price. So, this may not fit your "affordable" description. Definitely worth a check-out. Mojo Grip did a review of the Bristell. You can check it out on this channel.

@@dh-flies hey cool plane, looks like it's the size of 152 cesna but with a wider cabin than a 172 cesna that's dope

Would love for you to do some proformance specs on your aircraft. Like 5000 feet 80 percent power speed and gph, 8000 feet, 10,000 feet. Really like your videos. Thanks for taking us along .

May I make a suggestion and what information is shown on your engine bar on the G3X’s touch. I have the same set up and the same engine. With the Rotax 915 it’s imperative to also have the manifold temp displayed. More so than having the fuel psi displayed so you could remove that to allow space for the man temp.

Nice flight. A few corrections, 1st you’ve flown ur plane to Sun N’ Fun this past yr when it was detained due to a stationary front. That’s when i came across ur channel & been following ever since. 2nd i clearly didn’t hear another pilot report rwy 10 @ Plant City unless u edited it out. I’ve once delivered a truck load to Plant City @ Winn Dixie Distribution Center bac in 2018. Can’t wait to hopefully see ur footage from the event this time. #salute my gud brotha!!!!!!
