It's funny because lately, the thing that stands out for me with this song is just how many lyrics it has. Have you noticed that songs nowadays only have two verses, a chorus, a bridge and that's it? Hips Don't Lie has got a lot of lyrics! English ones, Spanish ones, rapped ones, a long compound refrain, the writer or writers really put their backs into it! What can I say except that times have changed? My all-time favorite Shakira song is Ojos Asi. It's old, I guess!

Cliff, I WOULD recommend the Shakira/Rihanna collab "Can't Remember to Forget You" but I don't think you could take it. 🤣By that I mean you absolutely MUST react to it.
