I obviously didn't expect it to happen, but it did. I just kept saying "oh you don't believe me, guess I have do to it again then"

Day9 is an incredible performer, and he knows how to make luck based content memorable, which is extremely impressive. His calls are not that outlandish though. He only explicitly called 2 of those draws. Before, he only implied that he'd survive, therefore that he wouldn't draw 2 bombs in a row. The 2 draws in question were still impressive, but absolutely feasible (as other comments in the thread stated, he likes to call unlikely shots) If he believed Rarrans counting of the bombs, there would be 3 left in a deck of about 10 cards. Calling that the next card you draw is no bomb has therefore a 70% chance of being correct, and the card after that being a bomb has a 33% chance of being correct, in total that'd be around a 23% chance. It is unlikely, yes, but since he only celebrates victories, and doesn't mourn losses, it is very easy for the audience to perceive the correct calls, and glaze over the false ones. A few minutes later he offhandedly calls out which totem he's going to get, gets it wrong, and brushes past it, if he had gotten it right, he would have given the camera a satisfied smile, and the audience would be going wild. Like this it was simply not as memorable, thus people very quickly forget. It is his job to entertain, and get the audience engaged (all of us reading/writing a way too lengthy comment about that kinda proves that he's very talented at that). He had a 23% chance to make an incredibly engaging moment, so he took it. He tried to continue the bit a little later, and failed, but he handled it so expertly that no one even noticed. I hope that roughly explained the 'how does he do that' question. Tl;Dr: Theatrics > Prophecies

I was rolling with laughter watching Roffle play Sandwich Warrior and declaring it to actually be a pretty good deck. It's okay Day9. You've been away for a long time. Skill issues are to be expected. At least you're cooking so hard that even Blizzard has acknowledged your power. Edited to add: Elise, Badlands Savior is probably the worst highlander legendary ever printed. Even without duplicates, I'm not sure it's even enough tempo in a draft to be worth running.
