I CRASHED IN FRONT OF AJ CATANZARO | THE MOTO ACADEMY RIDE DAY @ TOMAHAWK MX

What a great day, track was in perfect condition. Was getting in some good laps and was working around the traffic to finally hit the 100ft table again but didn’t get the chance to prior to working the same jump with Aj and few others from The Moto Academy App. After watching AJ session it for a bit he gave us all some more tips prior to hitting. He called on me first to send it and I was pretty confident and maybe a little over confident from hitting it consistently just 2 days prior. So instead of doing the right thing and working my way back up I went full send… and well didn’t go to well. Luckily I didn’t get hurt and I just brushed it off and took the bike back to the truck got it all straightened up and continued to enjoy the day. By the end of the day I was able to hit it clean again. Lucky to not be hurt and wont be making that mistake again!

How did you straighten up the front end???

To me it looks like you crashed cause you cased the jump. And it kicked your rear end sideways. From a go pro view it looks like you hit the jump straight. If you went a little bit faster and landed on the downside of the landing I’m sure you woulda been all good. This is from a go pro view though haha

Well from what Aj said, I carved and hit the slick part of the take off. So I didn’t get all the speed I could have it I did hit it perfectly straight. Needed that extra 1 mph lol
