As an award winning architect myself, this city is a work of genius. The roads that go fucking nowhere, the random intersections, the nonexistent highway. Truly a “piece de resistance” as the french would say. Architects 100 years from now will be wiping tears from their eyes as they look at the layout of this city. Napoleon would be proud 🥲😭❤️

The irony is, my city actually implemented several roundabouts to alleviate traffic while I was in university. I haven't been in a traffic jam since, so I guess it worked. Okay Mayor Felix, just deposit the money to the account I told you about, and be sure to delete this last part.

Main purpose of roundabouts are actually safety. My professor thought us that in the first year of Urban Planning. I think there may be a slight improvement to traffic flow but it is negligible. What really eleviates traffic is viable alternative modes of transport instead of the car. Such as Metro, tram, bike lanes, bus routes, train stations ect. This also makes travel more accesible for more people, makes room for better public spaces designed for people instead of cars and ultimately makes driving a more pleasant experience for people who still want to drive.

I was the dono about being diagnosed with ADHD, why was chat saying ‘it’s not a personality trait’ when I literally never said that? For anyone wondering, the best way to deal with congested traffic is more lanes and larger blocks. If you make tiny blocks, it's intersection after intersection back to back to back. Look at your roads and think about driving on them. If it's a road that you would flip out on, remove some intersections.

I came into this thinking I'd be bored after 10 minutes but this was some of the best content I've seen in ages. But I swear to God I was about to literally mald about his roads. That entrance was so scuffed holy crap. All he had to do was connect the exit road so people didn't have to go ONE FUCKING WAY COMING INTO THE CITY as well as make exits along the long road into the city branching off instead of everyone going to one intersection. Also get rid of the unaligned road so there's not 10 foot intersections everywhere. Game was literally telling him to not do that. And then he's off build fucking highways to land he doesn't even own when he can't even handle the dumpster fire that he's already built.

Thats the exact reason why I enjoy this series, I love how he starts something, drops it, starts the next thing, then gets a grand idea, prepares evrything fot it, then remembers the first thing, gets back to it, and show is all over again, and all this accompanied by pure adhd and confidence.
