Yo! This is a recap of days 1-8 of the shiny calendar challenge. Every day, I have to find one more shiny than the previous day. With days 1-8 down, that's 36 shiny pokemon I've found already! Here's all the reactions to it!

An interesting spin on this challenge would be a Christmas variant where for the 12 days before Christmas, you have to hunt for that day's number of shinnies. I might do that myself now.

next shiny...arceus. you can get one in bdsp. of course you will need to battle arceus and catch it. as well as complete the pokedex in Legends Arceus and beat the elite four in bdsp but it is entirely possible for you to shiny-hunt arceus.

As far as I'm concerned the shiny charm does help if you plan to go for the static alphas but if you're just doing mo or mmo it's definetly not required you get a lot of shinies even without

Someone needs to talk about the catch rates in Scarlet and Violet... It's basically impossible to catch anything without a critical capture unless you're capturing a level 3 Lechonk or something... Someone needs to talk about this and hope that Nintendo can fix it...

The catchrates are normal. Crit captures indicate you’ve caught it already (registered in pokedex.) and you caught another one.
