I mnaged to win my first run with totems by lucking into the immortal squirrel totem. Infinite sacrifices, and you are only capped by the board space.

The best one I ever got was something I nicknamed the “fecundi-bee”, a bee which managed to get 3 sigils of fecundity at the same time. Place the bee and ya’ get 3 more bees. Got this via fucudity totem + fecundity already on beehive. 0 clue how I got a 3rd one tho…

What I think happened is because the hive has fecundity and the totem was bug fecundity (meaning 2 fecundity on the hive, but acted as 1 for some reason), the bees were given 2 fecundity from the hive and 1 from the totem, meaning 3 fecundity that actually just gave 3 copies of the card when played.

@@khuturuwmorow6267 I feel like he really does deserve it tho. Sure he started out worse than most people. But he figured out the mechanics way faster than any other person I've seen play this game. (And I've seen a lot) A great example are the puzzles you need to solve for the locked boxes. Most people just brute force it and don't understand why it worked. Otz actually was able to logic the answer. (Although admittedly he did do some trial and error)

Does the Water sign(hides during opponent attacks) work on the Cat? Making it immortal to both sacrifice and damage, without rendering its sacrifice useless? Or does it hide during card draws too?

@@LycanFerret It does work, but you've made a tile vulnerable to attack. In the case of unkillable via direct attack (which is the first thing I use on the cat lol) you're blocking from direct dmg while having infinite sacrifice. Its best to use on a made up card though because you can set the cost to 0 (from a pelt or if you get lucky from a squirrel or geck)

Content creators that do things as you'd expect makes for boring/ un-agitating content. If you make drama with hairbrain decisions it gets people talking, commenting, showing others. It's one of the best ways to generate attention.

@@Blargel The story just made me want a Magnificus and Grimora gamemode, but I don't think we'll ever see that. Inscryption definitely has one of the best stories I've ever played! I beta tested KM and it was absolutely bonkers insane. In the beginning there were a lot of card setups that were literally impossible, but by the end of the development period I think it became tough but fair. It's still insanely hard, but I appreciate that you can make your own level of challenge with it.

I have finally finished the first part 😌 it was funny watching otz progress and eventually become a demon, the beehive strat was way too op but I enjoyed the ending, the stoat ending up being the goat and you picked up some really interesting cards, I’m happy I took the time to watch this because the whole thing was pure comedy, what even is this ending though, very cryptic

I know that its a struggle playing a new game, and a strategy game at that, but I really wished Otz could've thought some things out more. It was really frustrating to see him play at times, especially when he missed obvious things. Though I do enjoy the game and the playthrough. Keep up the good work!

I think most people just don't understand that others might not have as much card game experience. If you've played anything like Yu Gi Oh or MTG most of these mechanics are fairly simple and easy to understand, but if you aren't experienced in the genre most things may seem strange.

Beating the impossible block is def possible. And the game will continue on like it never happened. But if you do it on the first round, you'll have to fight the final boss without bone cards.

I think it's important to let him learn, and I understand everyone learns at a different pace, but I have absolutely no idea how Otz did not come to grasp that the red numbers with the dial behind it on the Mighty Leap Sigil page in the rulebook was for the safe, and then he decides to ignore it when chat tells him it's for the safe, even though the numbers were revealed to him on purpose behind the game, meaning he was fully intended to discover the passcode after his first death, with or without the Stoat telling him about it. Other than that, I have to keep in mind that other people operate differently. EDIT: Okay it's really only a bit rough for the first hour, he starts to get the hang of everything after that.

This is a huge surprise! Inscryption is my Game of the Year and im glad your playing it. After your done with the campaign, i suggest checking out Kaycee's mod (its not and actual mod). Its the developer's version of the game and turns the first act of the game into a better roguelike.

I started malding when he didn't take infinite sacrifices goat. That was too good man, one more altar and you could have done a multitude of broken combos.

I love your DBD content, but the resident evil village game was very refreshing for your channel and I feel this would be too. I'd like to see just a bit more variety. Just my opinion, me and my wife love your videos.

Hey Otz! It's so awesome to see you playing one of my favorite games! I appreciate that you are doing your best to avoid spoilers and stuff, because I definitely agree that knowing as little as possible going into it is a very satisfying way to play! This isn't really a spoiler, but I wanted to let you know, once you've beaten the full game, you'll unlock Kaycee's Mod, which is basically a replayable first act, with some added twists, new cards and sigils, and extra challenge features to increase the difficulty as you get better! It seems like you really enjoyed the first act, I can't wait to watch part two! Edit: I went to watch part 2 through the link in the description, it says the video is private? Is that a bug on my end, or has it just not been fully published yet?
