He didn’t explain it well, but the Japanese name is rejiaisu. Regi-ice is the intended pronunciation, and from Gen 2 onward there was an effort made to keep the names of Legendaries and Mythicals consistent across all languages. They probably should have used a hyphen like in Ho-oh for the English name.

For the pronunciation on Regice's name, you should have specified the Japanese pronunciation. I agree with the cosmic guy, because in the English games (colosseum, xd) it is pronounced Rej-ice. Even the English dub for the Anime calls it Rej-ice.

they said tyranitar was the best parent with the logic of "look at Pupitar, it allows it's Larvitar to have a teen age of sloth and entitlement instead of being pushed to be the strongest. being allowed to have a youth instead of being forced into extreme training. you still engage in battles but its more of a hang back from your shell and shoot out flames rather than jump as high as you can to slash with your claws and by doing both you learn how to fight as a tyranitar, pretty much being set up for the next stage of your life.
