(us pros don't relly like new players, so if you start out, please make your character a thief class, watch some tutorials, and DO NOT play with other people, getting carried makes you worse)

4:27 I get mad whenever I see people using a `continue` statement in Lua, because Lua 5.1 and LuaJIT doesn't support it, so when modding Minetest, I have to use a variable and check it every loop to see whether it should skip it, which adds yet another level of indentation and like three extra lines, and when you're nesting loops three deep for coordinates, that's three extra indents for the if statements, and why can't Minetest just modify their version of Lua to support `continue`????

Do you know about the deckbuilding roguelike game wildfrost ? It has what is to me the best difficulty system, it allows you to chose different modificators that will influence your run and make it harder it's very well made i just thought i'd point that out since the talk was about interesting difficulty systems

my eyes were bleeding after this... on minute 7:21 from line 4 to 8 you have an if statement which uses the boolean "vv.name == v.name" and your applying vv.visible: true if the if statment is true, and false if it is false, you can just type "vv.visible = vv.name == v.name" instead using a if statement, same goes for line 15 🙂
