Have you considered full crit Gnar? Mini form gets scaling attack speed, so you can focus on higher-AD items like Stormrazor and Bloodthirster, and Mega form has insane AD ratios for those items.

Zwag try Pantheon Tank/Assasin build and dealing almost true damage. Rush Heartsteel first to stack HP then buy Black Cleaver and Serylda's Grudge. With this build at sixteenth lvl u gain 30% armor penetration so you will be tanky and dealing a lot of damage.

For a general rule of thumb on shaco you can play by kayn rules if they have a bunch of melee then ap is better (also dive and hard engage) if they are mostly ranged then ad is better. Also you should rush the zerks on garen it's a big spike. Oddly enough my two most played champs are garen and shaco lol
